Job Description

This Registered Nurse position involves providing compassionate care to patients with end-stage renal failure or chronic kidney disease in a hospital setting. No prior dialysis experience is necessary, as comprehensive training will be provided.

Candidates must possess a current RN license and be prepared to support patients through complex treatment plans, delivering lifesaving care in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
  • Associates Degree in Nursing (A.D.N) from accredited school of nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N); three-year diploma from accredited diploma program may be substituted for nursing degree
  • Experience in Intensive Care Unit (ICU), Critical Care Unit (CCU), Emergency Room (ER), or Medical Surgical (Med Surg) preferred
  • Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN) or Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN) certification an asset

Dynamic Environment

This Acute (Inpatient) Dialysis Nurse position offers a dynamic environment, providing specialty nephrology care within various settings (ICU, CCU, ED, and more). You will work daily in a hospital setting, delivering dialysis to patients at a contracted healthcare system, and become an integral part of both the hospital and DAVITA team.
