The Landscape Construction PM/Estimator will be responsible for developing detailed cost estimates, analyzing project specifications, and collaborating with project managers and design teams to ensure precise and competitive bids.
This role will also involve managing the process from initial contact with clients through to final invoicing, working closely with clients, suppliers, and operations team to gather accurate information, negotiate prices, and support the overall growth and success of our landscape construction division.
Once a project reaches contract stage, the successful candidate will be responsible for buying out all materials, negotiating with suppliers, and managing the project alongside one of our field superintendents.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years of experience in the landscape/construction industry and a strong understanding of drainage methods, materials, and equipment required to complete various landscape projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinating both short-term and long-term scheduling alongside existing management staff.
- Assisting in personnel management, employee safety, and training.
- Working knowledge of drainage methods.
- Knowledge of specific materials, methods, tools, and equipment required to complete various landscape projects.
- Ability to maintain company and client confidential information.
- Excellent driving record.
Requirements:
- Landscape Contracting Degree or Similar Qualification preferred.
- Must be willing and able to work in all outdoor weather conditions all year round.
- Must be flexible to work weekends and holidays when requested.
- Proficient in Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
