Advanced Paramedic Instructor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Advanced Paramedic Instructor to join our team at Trinity Health.

The Advanced Paramedic Instructor will be responsible for carrying out various duties related to EMS education, working closely with the EMS Education Coordinator. This role requires strong knowledge of pre-hospital emergency care, instructional methods, and evaluation techniques.

• Develop and deliver educational programs for paramedics, ensuring they meet national accreditation standards and requirements for state certification or licensure.
• Maintain current knowledge of national curricula, registration processes, and state certification or licensure requirements.
• Collaborate with the EMS Education Coordinator to implement educational strategies and assess student performance.
• Evaluate and improve instructional methods, materials, and facilities to ensure high-quality education.

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• A valid EMT-Paramedic license, as evidenced by licensure.
• Nationally Registered Paramedic certification.
• AHA Instructor of CPR/ACLS/PALS certification.
• Incident Command certification in North Dakota (preferred).
• PHTLS Instructor certification (preferred).
• Experience in delivering out-of-hospital emergency care, preferably with computer skills and Microsoft Office experience.
