Job Description

SAIC is seeking a Cyber Security Systems Engineer to provide Network Engineering support for Cyber Security requirements to maintain Security Systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Apply patches, updates, program cameras and other security devices, upgrade switches, test fiber connectivity, test multicasting on decoders, update software, maintain user accounts, network configuration, hardware troubleshooting and repair.
  • Support new system developments for NAVSEA projects to be deployed by the warfighter.
  • Analyze DoD requirements and support lab and remote locations to ensure systems are functioning correctly.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree and 2 years of experience. Additional years of experience in lieu of degree will be accepted.
  • Must be familiar with VLAN routing, and routing protocols such as OSPF and EIGRP.
  • Must be able to pass Security + and achieve CSWF certification Level II.
  • Interim secret required to start with the ability to obtain TS SCI. SAIC will sponsor the clearance process.
  • US Citizenship required.

Preferred Experience

  • Cisco Certified Entry Network

SAIC accepts applications on an ongoing basis and there is no deadline. SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters. Customer site vaccination requirements must be followed when work is performed at a customer site.
