Job Summary:

The Salvation Army Harbor Light Complex is seeking a skilled Detox Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to individuals struggling with addiction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough screenings for admission, including assessments and urine screens.
  • Administer CINA and CIWA assessments to identify client needs.
  • Manage client medical problems, dispense medications as ordered by physicians, and administer medically assisted treatment pharmaceuticals.
  • Communicate effectively with medical coordinators and other program staff to ensure coordinated care.
  • Facilitate shift changes and maintain client confidentiality.

Requirements:
  • Current nursing licensure and certification.
  • Experience working with addiction recovery and detoxification.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
