Job Description: As a Workplace Readiness Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting our individuals served by providing direct care and supervision. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure they are performing their assigned duties to the best of their ability while promoting positivity and encouragement.

Required Skills and Qualifications: To excel in this role, you should possess excellent communication skills, flexibility, leadership capabilities, and a positive attitude. Additionally, a high school diploma or equivalent, minimum of 1 year of professional work experience, and at least 6-months of prior experience working with persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities are essential qualifications.

Responsibilities:

  • Document daily notes and outcomes in Timas system
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records for billing purposes
  • Manage direct care and supervision for several individuals at a time
  • Develop positive relationships with various employers
  • Assist in forming supportive relationships with personnel encountered at jobsites
  • Consult with day supervisors regarding progress, issues, or behavioral episodes
  • Encourage appropriate dress code when leaving for work

Estimated Salary: Based on industry standards and location, we estimate the annual salary for this position to be approximately $31,946.
