We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at Centers Healthcare Management. As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our residents and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform all housekeeping activities, including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, laundry, and cleaning bathrooms.
- Restock common areas, resident rooms, and bathrooms with necessary supplies.
- Follow detailed cleaning procedures for each room and common area.
- Set up and mix cleaning solutions according to specifications.
- Use chemical cleaners and equipment safely and effectively.
- Clean floors, walls, and windows in common areas and resident rooms.
- Empty trash and recyclables throughout the facility.
- Ensure all bathrooms are stocked with toilet paper, paper towels, and soap.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- One year of job-related experience preferred.
- Ability to lift 0-40 pounds daily.
- Capable of standing, walking, and reaching throughout a shift.
- Capable of lifting furniture and equipment.
- Must be able to handle/interact with all cleaning chemicals used.
- Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and flexible hours as needed.
- Must have effective communication skills in English.
