Job Title: Archaeological Field Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Archaeological Field Specialist to join our team at Kleinfelder. As a key member of our cultural resources team, you will be responsible for conducting archaeological fieldwork, including Phase I surveys, reconnaissance, and Phase II and Phase III work.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct archaeological fieldwork, including surveys, reconnaissance, and excavation
  • Identify and document cultural resources, including prehistoric and historic-era sites
  • Collaborate with team members to develop and implement project plans
  • Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders
  • Meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality results
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Anthropology, Archaeology, or closely related field
  • At least three months of experience in cultural resources fieldwork or an accredited field school
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong writing and documentation skills
  • Experience with MS Office and digital field technology
