Nuvance Health is seeking a skilled Speech Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech Pathologist, you will be responsible for administering and applying speech/language pathology treatment modalities as prescribed by a referring physician.

Evaluating, planning, directing, and treating patients referred to speech/language pathology is a key aspect of this role. You will work to restore function and prevent disability following disease or injury, and assist patients in obtaining maximum performance and function in society.

Participating in performance improvement activities within the department and participating in CQI activities are also essential responsibilities. Additionally, you will provide information related to departmental budget considerations in relation to speech pathology needs for optimum patient care and service.

This role requires a master's degree from an approved college or school of speech/language pathology, as well as current State of Connecticut licensure in Speech Pathology. Knowledge of principles and practice of speech pathology, performance of technical skills related to speech pathology, and knowledge of infection control, sterile technique, and related impact on rehabilitative medicine practice and equipment are also necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluates, plans, directs, and treats patients referred to speech/language pathology

Requirements:
