Looking for a challenging opportunity in wood products manufacturing? Boise Cascade is seeking a Millwork Design Specialist to join our team.

About the Role

This position will be based out of Boise, Idaho, and will involve designing and implementing millwork configuration software used by internal and external sales associates. You will work with users to support business applications and define system solutions that align with business strategies and interface with existing processes and systems.

Responsibilities include maintaining, integrating, and implementing software for millwork production or scheduling programs and equipment, preparing and maintaining technical documentation, user guides, and providing end-user software training. Additionally, you will require specific knowledge of division procedures, products, policies, and programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain, integrate, and implement software for millwork production or scheduling programs and equipment
  • Design and implement millwork configuration software used by internal and external sales associates
  • Work with users to support business applications and define system solutions
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, user guides, and provide end-user software training
Requirements
  • College degree or equivalent work experience in a related job function
  • 5+ years of experience preferred
  • Strong commitment to safety, quality, environmental awareness, and continuous process improvement

Estimated salary: $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience.
