  • Counseling Services
    • Provide individual, family, and group counseling sessions to promote emotional well-being and address specific challenges.
    • Conduct intake assessments and diagnostic evaluations to understand client needs and develop effective treatment plans.
  • Community Outreach
    • Offer on-site counseling services at JFS, Inc. locations or satellite clinics as needed.
    • Promote community awareness about mental health resources and services.
  • Record Keeping and Communication
    • Maintain accurate and confidential client records, adhering to agency and state regulations.
    • Communicate effectively with colleagues, supervisors, and external partners through phone, email, or in-person meetings.
  • Professional Development
    • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging issues in mental health.
    • Participate in training, workshops, and conferences to enhance professional growth and skills.
Requirements
  • Education and Licensure
    • Hold a Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
    • Be licensed as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the State of Wisconsin.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Demonstrate expertise in trauma-informed care, psychodynamics, group process, and client advocacy.
    • Have a valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and automobile insurance coverage.
    • Be willing to learn about Jewish culture and traditions, as necessary.
