Job Summary

The Program Assistant II plays a vital role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality services at Facility CARROLL HOSPITAL. This position supports the Hospice team by maintaining accurate and organized documentation, preparing clinical reports, and coordinating administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate scheduling of hospice aides and ensure timely completion of documentation
  • Prepare team sheets, case conference notes, and clinical statistical reports
  • Utilize effective communication and organizational skills to maintain a smooth workflow
  • Assist with filing medical records and maintaining accurate records

Requirements

  • High School Diploma Required
  • Basic knowledge of Medical Terminology/Secretarial Training preferred
  • Less than 2 years Experience in hospice preferred
  • General knowledge in one or more software, hardware, or information systems
  • Experience with Windows, Microsoft Office, and existing programs available to the agency
  • Ability to work independently and in an organized manner
  • Demonstrates accurate verbal and written organizational skills
  • Must be able to work office equipment, personal computer, fax machine, telephone, printer, and copier
