Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Nurse II to join our team at the University of Maryland Medical System. As a Clinical Nurse II, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in the Shock Trauma Outpatient Pavilion. This role requires a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care to patients in the Shock Trauma Outpatient Pavilion
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Participate in unit governance and contribute to the development of strategies to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest clinical practices and guidelines to provide evidence-based care

Requirements:

  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Maryland or eligibility to practice due to Compact state agreements
  • Minimum of 12 months of experience in a comparable setting
  • Strong clinical skills and knowledge of patient care principles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
