We are seeking a motivated and experienced physician to join our team at Visiting Docs. As a geriatrics or internal medicine specialist, you will provide high-quality, evidence-based care to patients residing in an assisted living facility.
Responsibilities:
- Provide general primary care to facility patients
- Diagnose, treat, and manage both acute and chronic conditions
- Prescribe and refill medications as appropriate
- Actively communicate with patients, families, other specialists, and facility staff
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as imaging and lab work
- Document patients' histories and treatments in EMR
- See patients via telehealth, as needed
Qualifications:
- Active unrestricted New York State license
- Minimum 3 years of experience preferred
- PECOS enrolled
- DEA certified
- BCLS
- Knowledge of eClinicalworks preferred
We offer full-time and part-time schedules with no evenings or weekends required. On-call (phone) for your patients only.
