We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Restorative Nursing Assistant to join our team at Burbank Healthcare And Rehabilitation Center. As a Restorative Nursing Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping our residents achieve their maximum potential mobility and independence.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist residents with range of motion exercises, strengthening exercises, and ambulation/transfer exercises to improve or maintain mobility and independence.
  • Document activities of daily living for assigned residents and monitor placement of restorative devices/equipment.
  • Provide daily and weekly documentation for each resident in the restorative program, including weekly progress summaries.
  • Report and chart significant changes in resident's condition or motivational level.
  • Ask/monitor resident for pain prior to and after providing treatments.
  • Provide routine restorative nursing care and services in accordance with the resident's assessment, care plan, and as directed by supervisors.
  • Participate in and document results of residents' activities of daily living programs, such as dressing, feeding, and personal hygiene.
  • Follow the restorative treatment plan devised by a nurse and help the resident perform basic day-to-day activities.
  • Coach and assist CNAs in positioning, ROM ambulation, ADL, cones/splints/contracture care, ADL specifics, safety device application, and other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and completion of a CNA program.
  • One year of experience as a CNA in a SNF facility and a current RNA certificate.
  • Current valid California CNA certification in good standing.
  • Fully vaccinated against COVID-19, including Booster shots.
  • Current California RNA certification.
  • Current First Aid and CPR Card.
  • Valid Fire Card.
