Job Summary:

The Good Samaritan Society is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care to residents in our Long Term Care facilities. This role involves utilizing the nursing process for assessment, diagnosis, and treatment, while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to plan and evaluate care.

About the Role:

This position requires a graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program, preferably with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing. The ideal candidate must hold an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing and obtain required department specific competencies and certifications.

We offer a competitive salary range of $32.00 - $48.00 per hour, based on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, life insurance, a 401(k) retirement plan, work/life balance benefits, and generous time off.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized nursing care to residents using the nursing process
  • Collaborate with resident and family, other inter-disciplinary colleagues, including providers, to plan, implement and evaluate care
  • Demonstrate competency and practice within the full scope of nursing expertise/knowledge
  • Coordinate care, resident assessment, resident education, and various other nursing interventions
  • Serve as charge nurse and delegate appropriate tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel

Qualifications:
  • Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program, preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, preferred
  • Unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring or multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
