Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Oncology team at NYU Langone Hospital - Brooklyn. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care and develop individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care coordination and effective communication.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patient responses to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Document patient progress and outcomes accurately and timely, using electronic medical records.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to enhance patient care.
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in the State of New York.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association.
  • 1 year of recent Med/Surg clinical experience, preferably in Oncology.
  • BSN degree preferred.
