Job Overview

Micro Tech Staffing Group is seeking a skilled Mechanical Quality Inspector for a full-time opportunity at our Stoughton location.

This position offers a competitive salary of $22-28 per hour, depending on experience.

About the Role

We are looking for an individual who can interpret blueprints and schematics to assemble, rework, and reassemble units. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical knowledge and be able to read and understand electrical diagrams and instructions.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Assemble switches and related equipment
  • Build components using proper tools provided
  • Ability to build electrical panels using power tools and hardware
  • Use hand tools such as soldering irons and grinding tools
  • Component & wire preparation, soldering, and molding
  • Wire and cable preparation and finishing
  • Perform spot checks of products to ensure adherence to quality standards
  • Notify management of product discrepancies or equipment malfunctions

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2+ years' experience in manufacturing environment preferred
  • Able to lift up to 40 lbs.
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Pass preemployment drug and background screenings
  • Demonstrate good electronics troubleshooting techniques and make repairs
  • Manually operate test equipment and analyze test data
  • Read drawings, schematics, bills of materials, and work instructions
  • Experience with cable assembly – hand tools, crimping, testing
