Job Title: Retail Sales-Auto parts

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Counter Salesperson to join our team at LKQ. As a Counter Salesperson, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and meeting sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a superior customer service experience to all walk-in and phone contact customers.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the showroom and stockroom.
  • Meet sales targets by suggesting products to customers and promoting sales.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently, including handling cash, credit card transactions, and returns.
  • Assist with inventory management, including receiving and stocking merchandise.
  • Participate in visual merchandising and store displays to create an attractive and engaging shopping environment.
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures, including counting cash and preparing for the next day.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Strong customer service background and experience working in a retail environment.
  • Prior automotive experience and knowledge of automotive parts preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and stand for long periods.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.

Working Conditions:

The employee will be regularly exposed to a fast-paced retail environment, including moving mechanical parts and an office environment. The employee may occasionally be exposed to extreme cold and heat, and will be required to tolerate high and low temperature levels and occasional inclement driving conditions.

Pay: $17.00-$19.00 per hour.
