Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our team in a dynamic healthcare environment.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a skilled RN to work as a Nurse Practitioner in a fast-paced healthcare setting. The successful candidate will have the ability to assess and treat human responses to actual and potential health problems, providing case finding, health teaching, and care supportive or restorative of life and well-being.

The ideal candidate will execute medical regimens prescribed by a licensed physician or other authorized healthcare provider, adhering to current Kaleida policies and standards of practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Treatment: Conduct thorough assessments of patients' health needs and develop treatment plans to address these needs.
  • Medical Regimens: Execute medical regimens prescribed by licensed physicians or other authorized healthcare providers.
  • Health Education: Provide health education and guidance to patients and their families to promote healthy behaviors and disease prevention.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must have:

  • A valid NYS registration as a Registered Professional Nurse/RN.
  • American Heart Association-Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 6 months of hire.
Compensation

The hourly salary range for this position is $38.54-$53.86 per hour, with the wage determined based on factors such as candidate's experience, qualifications, internal equity, and collective bargaining agreements.
