Saint Alphonsus Medical Center and Saint Alphonsus Medical Group have an excellent opportunity for a skilled General Orthopedic Surgeon to join a thriving practice in Fruitland, Idaho.

The practice is part of a well-established 450+ provider multispecialty group, seeking an experienced orthopedic surgeon to collaborate with two Orthopedic Sports Medicine physicians and three Advanced Practice Providers.

Supporting the team are hospital-based imaging services, including a 24/7 Radiology department with in-house coverage for general Radiology and CT, as well as after-hours coverage for Ultrasound and Nuclear Medicine, MRI, Comprehensive Breast Center, and DR image capture technology.

The typical full-time schedule consists of Monday through Friday, with a minimum of 32 patient contact hours per week, plus procedures, rounding, and consults. Call is shared with other eligible members in the SAMG Department of Orthopedics, and the candidate must be willing to take general orthopedic ED call.

To be considered, applicants must hold a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or a Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree, complete an accredited orthopedic residency program, obtain Board Certification through the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery (ABOS), and secure privileges at SAMC-Ontario and SAMC-Nampa.
