The County of Los Angeles, CA is seeking a skilled and compassionate Patient-Centered Psychiatric Social Worker I to join our team in addressing the pressing issue of homelessness. As an integral part of our mental health emergency response team, you will play a vital role in providing critical support to individuals experiencing homelessness.

As a Patient-Centered Psychiatric Social Worker I, you will be responsible for conducting thorough assessments, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and providing evidence-based interventions to promote recovery and stability among clients. Your expertise will also involve collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care coordination and facilitating referrals to community resources as needed.

In this role, you will work closely with colleagues to develop and implement strategies aimed at reducing homelessness and improving access to healthcare services. Your dedication to empowering vulnerable populations and commitment to excellence will enable you to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those you serve.

To succeed in this position, you should possess a Master's degree from an accredited School of Social Work or expect to graduate within six months. Additionally, registration as an Associate Clinical Social Worker (ACSW) with the California Department of Consumer Affairs, Board of Behavioral Sciences, is required. You must also demonstrate proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL) and hold certification in ASL or possess a County American Sign Language Certification. A valid California Class C Driver License or alternative transportation method is also necessary. We offer a competitive salary range of $76,804.32 - $98,034.72 per annum, commensurate with experience.
