About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Risk Management Expert to join our team in the Southern California area. This role involves managing multiple large construction accounts, adapting innovative solutions to minimize customer losses, and improving business resiliency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple large construction accounts within the region.
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to minimize impacts on customer losses and improve overall sustainability and business resiliency.
  • Leverage Zurich's risk engineering tools and services to improve customer risk management and general account management of customers who purchase Zurich Construction Insurance products.
  • Deliver high-quality construction consultative services to customers, including identifying exposures and program risk control gaps to form the basis of risk mitigation recommendations.
  • Develop and maintain positive customer relationships and collaborate with both customers and business partners to develop appropriate service plans.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree and 6 or more years of experience in construction risk engineering, safety/risk management, or construction field operations.
  • Experience working in a team environment and strong communication skills.
  • Knowledge of construction safety, operations, quality management, and associated construction risks and exposures.
  • Professional certifications such as CSP, ARM, or CHST.
