Highly Experienced Middle School Social Studies Educator Wanted

At Caliber Public Schools, we're seeking a highly qualified and passionate Middle School Social Studies Teacher to join our dynamic team. With a focus on academic excellence and student success, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the educational experience for our students.
About the RoleThis is an excellent opportunity for an experienced educator to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our students. As a Middle School Social Studies Teacher, you'll be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans, fostering a love of learning, and providing individualized support to ensure each student reaches their full potential.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching social studies, with a proven track record of driving student achievement and progress. You'll be comfortable working collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the wider community to promote a culture of academic excellence and social responsibility.
Key Responsibilities- Create and deliver high-quality lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respect, empathy, and open communication
- Monitor student progress, identify areas for improvement, and develop targeted interventions to support struggling learners
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum initiatives that meet the needs of all students
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A valid California State Teaching Credential or equivalent teaching license from another state
- A Bachelor's Degree in Education or related field
- Experience teaching social studies at the middle school level, preferably in a high-performing school
- Strong knowledge of curriculum design, pedagogy, and assessment strategies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
In return for your hard work and dedication, we offer a competitive salary of $70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience. You'll also enjoy:
