Job Summary:

The Clinical Care Leader will be responsible for the provision of clinical care, competency development, clinical supervision, authorization of treatment plans/care, training, and support of Doctoral, Masters and Bachelors prepared behavioral health staff.

This position will develop, conduct, and evaluate training for all levels of direct clinical service staff and interns to ensure utilization of evidence-based practice for quality care.

The Clinical Care Leader will be a subject matter expert for clinical care and provide guidance on treatment recommendations and provision of clinical services.

This position requires a full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the mission of Aspire Indiana Health, utilizing evidence-based best practice models.

The position will also work in conjunction with management in working towards Aspire's strategic priorities and excellence in healthcare.

Responsibilities:

  • Provision of clinical care
  • Competency development
  • Clinical supervision
  • Authorization of treatment plans/care
  • Training and support of behavioral health staff
  • Development, conduct, and evaluation of training for direct clinical service staff and interns
  • Subject matter expert for clinical care
  • Guidance on treatment recommendations and provision of clinical services

Requirements:

  • Doctoral degree in Psychology from a college/university accredited by the US Department of Education
  • Minimum of two (2) years experience post licensure as an HSPP Psychologist
  • Community Mental Health experience highly preferred
  • Substance use evaluation experience preferred
  • Knowledge of social service systems, community resources, legal systems, and child welfare systems highly preferred
  • Licensure as a Licensed Psychologist by the State of Indiana with HSPP designation

  • Excellent diagnostic and treatment planning skills
  • Ability to exhibit a high level of professionalism when working with colleagues

  • Ability to demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness and the ability to problem solve and utilize critical thinking skills
  • Reliable transportation to attend trainings and/or meetings
