Dressing Table Operator

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and coordinating food orders to ensure timely service. As a key member of the Steak n Shake team, this individual will dress, plate, inspect, and expedite all food items with precision and attention to detail.

Essential Functions:

The primary responsibilities of the Dressing Table Operator include:

  • Dressing, plating, inspecting, and expediting food orders
  • Preparing food in a timely fashion (approximately 5-8 minutes from receipt)
  • Monitoring dressing table temperatures and restocking as needed
  • Sanitizing the work station and maintaining a clean and safe environment

This role requires excellent physical stamina, including standing, bending, stretching, and walking throughout shifts. Additionally, the ability to lift and transfer trays of food, as well as maintain good personal hygiene and uniform standards, is essential.
