Our client is a well-established investment bank with a strong presence in New York. They seek an experienced Email Surveillance Analyst to join their team and contribute to their regulatory compliance efforts.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing communications using surveillance systems, identifying potential compliance issues, and collaborating with business management, compliance, and legal teams to mitigate risks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize advanced surveillance tools to scrutinize email communications for regulatory compliance and confidential information misuse
  • Document and resolve potential compliance breaches, ensuring seamless collaboration with internal stakeholders
  • Liaise with business units, compliance, and legal teams to assess risks and address identified issues during review of communications

Requirements:

  • 1-4 years of experience in corporate and investment banking or a related field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Exceptional attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to exercise sound judgment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to build effective relationships
  • Familiarity with the corporate and investment banking industry, as well as prior experience with email surveillance (Global Relay) is highly desirable
  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Finance)

Salary Range:

$80,000 - $110,000 per annum, commensurate with experience
