Job Summary

As a key member of our sales team, the Senior Sales Manager Leisure will be responsible for driving revenue growth by proactively soliciting business opportunities, handling large group or customer segments with significant revenue potential, and upselling each business opportunity to maximize revenue for individual properties.

Candidate Profile

To be successful in this role, candidates should have a 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a related major, along with 5 years' experience in sales and marketing or a related professional area. Alternatively, a 4-year bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a related major, with 3 years of experience in sales and marketing or a related professional area is also acceptable.

Core Work Activities

The Senior Sales Manager Leisure will be responsible for understanding market opportunities and driving revenue by targeting accounts, markets, or segments with heavy emphasis on proactive solicitation and account saturation. This includes identifying, qualifying, and soliciting new business to achieve personal and property revenue goals, focusing efforts on accounts with significant potential sales revenue. Additionally, the successful candidate will develop effective sales plans and actions, work with partners to develop creative ideas and proposals for events, and maximize revenue by upselling packages. The Senior Sales Manager Leisure will also be responsible for closing the best opportunities based on market conditions and individual property needs, using negotiating skills and creative selling abilities to close on business and negotiate contracts. Furthermore, they will handle complex business with significant revenue potential as well as significant customer expectations, build and strengthen relationships with existing and new customers to enable future bookings, and participate in site visits.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum
