- We are seeking a skilled Medical Technologist to join our team in a small community in Northern Nebraska.
About the Role
- This is an exciting opportunity for a Medical Technologist to utilize their laboratory skills and experience to make a positive impact on patient care.
Responsibilities
- Laboratory Testing & Analysis: Perform various laboratory tests (Hematology, Clinical Chemistry, etc.) and conduct chemical analyses of body fluids.
- Specimen Management & Equipment Maintenance: Assist in specimen collection and processing, prepare necessary equipment, and maintain laboratory instruments and supplies.
- Safety & Training: Promote safety protocols for patients and staff, and ensure ongoing training and compliance with updated procedures.
Requirements
- Previous laboratory experience is preferred.
- Certification as a MT/Medical Technologist or MT/MLT by a recognized regulatory agency OR certification eligible.
- Qualifies to do high complexity testing under 42CFR b).
- MT/MLT must be ASCP certified.
