Dedicated Pediatric and Adult Home Healthcare Nurse

About the JobWe are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as a Private Duty Evenings nurse. As a RN with Maxim, you will have the opportunity to work with pediatric and adult patients in their own homes, providing one-on-one care and support.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient/client care and/or services provided to client(s) receiving contracted services.
- Initiate the plan of care when directed and request revisions as patient status and needs change.
- Incorporate therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions based on patient diagnosis and established goals.
- Intervene in response to changes in patient/client condition and report such changes to appropriate physician or supervisor.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, and monitor and document effectiveness of intervention.
Requirements:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) License for the state in which the nurse practices.
- Current Health Certificate (per facility Registered Nurse (RN) contract or state regulation).
- Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
- Current BLS card.
- One year prior Registered Nurse (RN) experience preferred.
