AoPS Academy is a year-round educational enrichment program dedicated to preparing students for college and career success through engaging curriculum, expert online instruction, and local, in-person academies.

Since 1993, Art of Problem Solving has been a global leader in K–12 advanced education. Our methodology focuses on building an environment where exploration meets challenge right in your local neighborhood.

We have opened 15 centers across the nation since 2016 and are still growing. Our mission is to inspire and train the great problem solvers of the next generation.

Job Summary

The AoPS Academy Campus Director will lead daily operations, manage people, and teach select weekly math/language arts classes. The ideal candidate has strong leadership experience, marketing skills, and teaching expertise. This role includes a competitive salary of $100,000, summer bonus, and performance raises.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead all day-to-day campus operations
  • Manage full-time and part-time staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling
  • Drive student enrollments and retention to meet business objectives
  • Strategically manage budgets, staffing needs, and class schedules
  • Create a warm and welcoming campus environment
  • Meet with current and prospective families in-person and virtually
  • Teach the AoPS curriculum in dynamic classes that focus on understanding and developing skills
  • Build community partnerships and attend outreach events
  • Complete other tasks and responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

  • Strong leadership and supervisory experience with demonstrated skill in hiring, training, managing, coaching, and evaluating diverse teams
  • Marketing, recruitment, or community engagement experience preferred
  • Teaching experience required; primary/secondary experience preferred
  • Mastery of math and/or language arts subject matter with ability to teach advanced students in grades 2-12 preferred
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred
