Auburn University is seeking an experienced Administrative Support Assistant II to join our team in the Facilities Management department. This role will provide administrative, financial, and general clerical support within a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will have 2 years of related experience, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (intermediate to advanced) and Adobe PDF. They will also be responsible for providing budget preparation, tracking, monitoring, and auditing, as well as payroll processing and travel/expense voucher processing.

We offer a competitive salary range of $15.00/hour, with regular working hours from Monday to Friday, 7:45AM-4:45PM. Our university values diversity and inclusion, and we encourage women, underrepresented groups, individuals with disabilities, and veterans to apply.

As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects and tasks, including data gathering, data management, correspondence, filing, calendar management, event scheduling, mail distribution, answering phones, organizing mail, purchasing/ordering supplies, and website maintenance.

  • Budget preparation, tracking, monitoring, and auditing
  • Payroll processing and travel/expense voucher processing
  • Providing administrative support to staff, students, administrators, and clients
  • Acting as a point of contact for other departments, students, faculty, customers, and outside agencies/vendors
