About the Role:

We seek an accomplished Event and Retail Manager to join our Capital Region leadership team, leading and coaching a marketing representative team to drive non-media lead generation and brand awareness through in-person experiential marketing.

Responsibilities:

Recruit, interview, hire, and train new team members, fostering growth within the department.Provide in-field coaching, helping team members reach their full potential.Negotiate event sponsorships and manage calendar-related expenses, staying within budget.Oversee participation in events, retail partnerships, and creation of lead-gen opportunities.Manage expense and P&L control of Events & Showroom, ensuring effective resource utilization.Collaborate with internal partners such as Sales, Inside Sales, Talent Acquisition, HR & Finance.Communicate results and strategy with management, aligning efforts toward common goals.

Qualifications:

To excel in this position, candidates should possess:

Bachelor's degree in marketing/communications or equivalent demonstrated skills and abilities.3-5 years' experience in sales/marketing, planning events, and/or managing sales/retail teams.Strong leadership skills and ability to think strategically.Excellent project management skills, including attention to detail.Effective verbal and written communication skills.Ability to self-manage resources (time & budget) to achieve objectives.Ability to analyze effectiveness of events, sponsorships, and local programs.Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office suite.

Compensation Package:

The estimated salary range for this role is $55,994-$71,392 annually. Additionally, eligible employees may receive quarterly profit-sharing installments tied to operating profit performance, with a target payout of $4,000 per employee in 2024.
