About the Company

Our client, a reputable Owner Rep firm in Boston, has been serving the life science, tenant interiors, multifamily, and other industries for over 10 years. With an impressive growth trajectory, they have expanded their team to over 40 employees and continue to work with high-profile clients. As they look ahead to 2024 and 2025, they are seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager to support their project pipeline.

About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Assistant Project Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating schedules during project setup and sub-bidding, identifying and tracking necessary materials, working with Project Managers to resolve lead-time issues, maintaining current financial reports, and developing positive relationships with clients and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create a project schedule that reflects the project strategy and ensures timely procurement of materials.
  • Identify and track all necessary materials to ensure timely arrival and alignment with the project schedule.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to resolve lead-time issues and maintain open communication channels.
  • Maintain accurate financial reports to quickly identify potential and existing issues.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and subcontractors through effective communication.

Requirements

  • 2-5+ years of construction experience.
  • 2+ years of project management experience.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred.
  • Experience in life sciences, tenant interiors, multifamily, or related industries preferred.
  • Strong written and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
