Mount View Assisted Living is seeking a dedicated and skilled Executive Chef - Kitchen Operations Specialist to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and presentation of meals, ensuring exceptional quality and taste. Our ideal candidate has experience in kitchen operations, menu planning, and team management.
This is a full-time position with a competitive salary range of $50,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.
Job Description:- Menu Planning and Execution: Develop and implement menus that meet the dietary needs of our residents, taking into account their preferences and restrictions.
- Kitchen Operations: Supervise and coordinate kitchen activities, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
- Team Management: Lead and motivate a team of kitchen staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
- Food Safety and Quality: Ensure that all food prepared and served meets the highest standards of safety and quality.
In addition to your culinary skills, you will also need excellent communication and leadership abilities to effectively manage your team and maintain a positive work environment.
Requirements:- Culinary Degree or Equivalent Experience: A culinary degree or equivalent experience in a commercial kitchen setting is required.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and manage a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with Food Safety Regulations: Knowledge of food safety regulations and protocols is essential.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy objects, and work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
