Dynamic Access LLC - Medical Scheduling Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Medical Scheduling Specialist to coordinate and manage the scheduling of infusion therapy services for our patients.

This role is ideal for an individual with excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of infusion therapy, and the ability to work collaboratively with healthcare teams to ensure timely and effective patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Office Administration
    • Answer phones in a professional manner
    • Receive and manage faxes and emails related to patient scheduling
    • Facilitate communication between RNs and pharmacies regarding supply lists
  • Scheduling Coordination
    • Manage and coordinate the scheduling of infusion therapy appointments for patients
    • Collaborate with nursing staff and other healthcare providers to optimize appointment availability
    • Help facilitate deliveries by pharmacies to patients
  • Patient Communication
    • Communicate with patients to confirm appointments, confirm receipt of supplies and medication, and address non-clinical questions or concerns
    • Ensure patients are aware of their treatment schedules and necessary follow-up
  • Record Keeping
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in the electronic health record system
    • Document scheduling changes and communicate updates to relevant team members

The successful candidate will possess:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
  • Experience: Prior experience in infusion therapy or clinical scheduling preferred; familiarity with electronic health record systems, preferably Alayacare
  • Skills: Strong organizational and time-management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team

This is a full-time office-based role. The estimated annual salary for this position is around $55,000, depending on location and qualifications.
