Corporate Taxation Leader

We are seeking an experienced Corporate Taxation Leader to join our team at HR Recruiting Services.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of tax professionals in preparing individual and business tax returns, reviewing and approving tax returns for release to clients, and coaching or mentoring staff members to enhance their skills and further develop their careers.
In addition, the Corporate Taxation Leader will gather relevant tax-related information from clients, look at tax situations from various angles to ensure maximum tax benefits are applied, network and build relationships to attract new clients or business, and bill clients for services provided.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the ever-changing tax industry's regulations and policies, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to lead a team of high-performing individuals.
Responsibilities- Lead a team of tax professionals in preparing individual and business tax returns.
- Review and approve tax returns for release to clients.
- Coach or mentor staff members to enhance their skills and further develop their careers.
- Gather relevant tax-related information from clients.
- Look at tax situations from various angles to ensure maximum tax benefits are applied.
- Network and build relationships to attract new clients or business.
- Bill clients for services provided.
- Active CPA license.
- 5-7 years of experience in public accounting tax work.
- Able to read a financial statement.
- Knowledge of various industries.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lead a team of high-performing individuals.
The estimated salary range for this position is $90,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
