**Job Description:**

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Specialist in Medical-Surgical Care to join our team at Altoona, Pennsylvania. As a key member of our interdisciplinary healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care in medical-surgical units, working collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement individualized care plans.

**Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct nursing care to patients, including assessment, medication administration, and wound care.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Monitor patient progress, assess vital signs, and respond promptly to changes in condition.
  • Educate patients and families on post-surgical care instructions, medication management, and recovery expectations.

**Required Qualifications:

  • Current RN license.
  • BLS certification (additional certifications as required by the facility).
  • Two years of recent medical-surgical RN experience.
  • Strong communication and adaptability skills.
