Role Summary

This role offers a unique opportunity to excel as an Upholstery Specialist, joining a dynamic team that prides itself on delivering exceptional service and creating a supportive work environment. As a key member, you'll contribute significantly to constructing and assembling luxury coach interiors, leveraging your experience to mentor others, troubleshoot issues, and recommend improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Custom Luxury Upholstery: Lead and execute high-end upholstery projects, ensuring precision and superior quality in seating, wall panels, and soft goods installations.
• Problem-Solving & Innovation: Analyze complex problems, develop solutions, and implement best practices to prevent repetitive issues.
• Technical Documentation: Accurately interpret blueprints and technical documents to guarantee adherence to exacting standards in all projects.
• Informal Leadership & Mentorship: Serve as an informal leader, guiding junior technicians while fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented work environment.
• Judgment & Initiative: Apply significant judgment and initiative to determine methods and procedures for new assignments, adapting to project needs and challenges.
• Cross-Team Communication: Effectively communicate technical and strategic information to various audiences, ensuring all teams understand project goals and requirements.

Requirements

• A minimum of 6+ years of related experience in custom upholstery, preferably in high-end or luxury environments.
• Proficiency in working with various upholstery materials (leather, vinyl, high-end fabrics) and tools.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

Compensation Details

The estimated hourly wage for this role is between $26.44 and $28.85 per hour.
