Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Specialist to join our team in providing exceptional care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed practical nurse to develop their skills and make a meaningful impact in the lives of our clients.

About the Role:
  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including assessing their health needs and developing individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications as prescribed by physicians and ensure accurate documentation of patient records.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to address the unique needs of our clients and promote their overall well-being.
  • Participate in training programs and professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date on best practices in care delivery.
Requirements:
  • Current active license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
