Peer Recovery Support Specialist

As a Peer Recovery Support Specialist at Presbyterian Healthcare Services, you will play a vital role in providing Recovery Coaching to patients struggling with mental health and substance use disorders.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing Recovery Coaching to patients, utilizing your personal experiences to develop meaningful and trusting relationships.
- Coordinating patient logistics, including arranging transportation and managing follow-up appointments.
- Building a community of patients and staff that is supportive and conducive to patient growth and recovery.
- Linking patients to community resources, including healthcare, housing, job assistance, and additional treatment services.
Requirements include:
- Knowledge of community resources.
- Previous experience working in a hospital or ED setting.
- Experience working with confidential medical records and documentation.
- Computer skills, familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
