Account Manager Opportunity at Alera Group

The ideal candidate for this role will be a seasoned professional with expertise in commercial lines coverage, specifically real estate, habitational, and construction. As the primary point of contact for clients, you will serve as the day-to-day expert on a book of business while maintaining high levels of client and internal team satisfaction.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Servicing existing accounts and handling new/renewals, including generating complete and accurate submissions to various markets, negotiating terms, presenting to insureds, securing coverage with carriers, invoicing, issuing certificates, and servicing placements.
  • Ensuring client satisfaction and delivering quality products and services to manage producer and client expectations and meet unique client needs.
  • Expanding the book of business by uncovering customer needs/deficiencies and making coverage recommendations.

This role requires a strong understanding of commercial lines insurance, excellent organizational and planning skills, and the ability to effectively manage multiple streams of work. The ideal candidate will also possess exceptional verbal and written communication skills, proficiency in MS Office Suite and TAM, and a current CA Property & Casualty insurance license.

Requirements:
  • 7+ years of prior professional experience in commercial lines coverage, specifically real estate, habitational, and construction.
  • Current CA Property & Casualty insurance license.
  • Excellent organization and planning skills.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and TAM.
Compensation:

The salary range for this position is $80k-$95k DOE, depending on experience.
