About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at Select Specialty Hospital. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping our patients recover from critical illnesses and injuries.

Your primary responsibility will be to assess and treat patients with physical disabilities, helping them to regain their independence and improve their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting thorough assessments of patients' physical abilities and developing personalized treatment plans.
  • Providing one-on-one therapy sessions to patients, using a variety of techniques and modalities to promote healing and recovery.
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Monitoring patients' progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed.
  • Supervising Physical Therapy Assistants and students, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality care.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Texas.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
