Solar Foreman

Gardner Energy is seeking a safety-minded Solar Foreman to join their team in West Haven, UT. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in the transition to modern, clean, renewable energy.

As a Solar Foreman, you will be responsible for prioritizing safety and proactively following safety policies and procedures. You will maintain a safe and clean job site, complete job site assessments, and participate in daily safety meetings with the crew.

You will also be responsible for onsite customer interaction and service, as well as onsite electrical and mechanical work while maintaining quality assurance and control. Experience in troubleshooting and repairing renewable energy systems, including battery systems, is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prioritize safety and proactively follow safety policies and procedures
• Maintain a safe and clean job site
• Complete job site assessments and participate in daily safety meetings
• Responsible for onsite customer interaction and service
• Responsible for onsite electrical and mechanical work
• Experience in troubleshooting and repairing renewable energy systems

Requirements:

• Ability to work safely in accordance with OSHA and Company safety standards
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Proven track record in solar and battery installations and troubleshooting
• Attention to detail
• Clean driving record and ability to pass background check and drug test
• Ability to perform heavy lifting/pushing/pulling of material weighing up to 75 pounds
• High level of comfort working on roofs and at heights
• Working knowledge and experience in residential and commercial renewable energy systems commissioning

Preferred Qualifications:

• Minimum 2+ years' experience in solar installation
• Good understanding of local and national electrical codes
• Electrical apprenticeship or Journeyman preferred

Job Details:

• Job Type: Full-time
• Monday – Thursday work week – 4 x 10 hour days with opportunities for overtime pay
• $28-32 per hour depending on experience
• Quarterly safety bonus
• Annual performance bonus
• Supervise a team of service solar and battery technicians
• Report to Service Project Manager
• 2 weeks PTO right from the start
