Licensed Practical Nurse

Management & Training Corporation (MTC) is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team. As an LPN, you will be responsible for providing medical care to detainees under the direction of health services administrators and supervising nurses. This is an on-call position, requiring flexibility and a commitment to providing quality care.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess the condition of detainees and prescribe treatment as needed
Assist with provider lines, prepare examining rooms, and operate pill carts
Administer medication and document patient information
Maintain confidentiality of medical records and adhere to HIPAA guidelines
Perform emergency procedures and call physicians for treatment orders
Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical or Vocational Nursing program
Current, valid practical nursing license for the state of New Mexico or a compact state
Current CPR certification
Valid driver's license in the state of New Mexico or Texas with an acceptable driving record
