Senior R&D Chemist

In this role, you will lead the design and development of new products, working closely with the R&D management team and senior R&D staff. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and evaluating results from experiments, both lab and production scale, in consultation with management.
You will prepare reports as instructed and follow all Design Control Procedures, Safety Policies, Environmental Policies, and other facility requirements. You will also support and collaborate with all company personnel to achieve the goals of assigned projects.
Key responsibilities include formulating coatings, evaluating surfactants, dispersants, defoamers, and fillers to create a stable and effective coating. You will also attend internal and external meetings and conferences as instructed.
The successful candidate will have a Chemistry degree, a Biology degree may also be considered, and a Master's degree is preferred. They will have 5-10 years of experience in product development, SPC and root cause analysis skills, material analysis and testing knowledge, and emulsion/dispersion experience is preferred.
