Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate physical therapist (PT) to join our team in providing patient-centered care in the comfort of their own homes.

Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist with Amedisys, you will be responsible for helping patients maintain, restore and improve movement, activity and function. Your duties will include:

  • Providing interventions and conducting reexaminations as necessary
  • Modifying interventions based on patient progress and needs
  • Performing discharge planning to ensure a smooth transition back to independent living
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A current license to practice physical therapy specific to the state you're assigned to work in
  • A graduate degree from an accredited physical therapy educational program
  • At least one year of related physical therapy experience, or approval from regional clinical leaders for less experienced candidates
  • CPR certification
