Manufacturing Quality Engineer - Ink

This is a highly visible role that offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on Apple Products and leave a footprint for years to come.

As a Quality Engineer, you will partner with multi-functional teams to evaluate design and processes at the concept phase, develop measurement technologies, control strategies, information systems, and manufacturing methods that achieve results-oriented specifications at substantial production scale.

You will also develop and implement groundbreaking quality inspection tools to evaluate ink color, cosmetic, and dimensional characteristics for ink-printed parts, compile and evaluate data to resolve appropriate limits and variables for color, processes, and specifications for ink-printed parts, and lead activities to balance unparalleled quality with scalable yields.

This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical quality and reliability concepts, supplier management, and general manufacturing operations, as well as experience with the development and evaluation of measurement systems, project management, and problem-solving tools.

The ideal candidate will have a BS in Engineering (Materials Engineering, Chemical engineering, or similar) and a strong background in quality engineering, with a passion for innovation and a commitment to excellence.

This role is based in Sunnyvale, California, and requires international travel (25%).
