MRG Exams: Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Provider

We are seeking a skilled Physiatrist to join our team as a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Provider, conducting medical assessments on U.S. Veterans for the VA's disability benefits process.

About the Role

This is an Independent Medical Assessment role, where you will review medical health records through a secure Web Portal and perform comprehensive assessments on each veteran.

You will complete Disability Benefit Questionnaires (DBQ's) through the Web Portal, documenting exam findings needed by the VA. Please note that you will NOT make disability determinations; the VA makes all disability determinations.

This is not a treating role, but rather a PRN position providing assessments only.

You will review and assess 3 Veterans per day on average, utilizing your expertise in finding key data points within large electronic medical records.

Your Responsibilities
  • Review medical health records through a secure Web Portal.
  • Perform comprehensive assessments on each veteran.
  • Complete Disability Benefit Questionnaires (DBQ's) through the Web Portal.
  • Document exam findings needed by the VA.
Requirements
  • Must hold a current license as a Physiatrist.
  • Must be Board Certified in either Neurological Surgery, PM&R or Psychiatry and Neurology.
  • Meets the credentialing requirements set forth by the VA.
Estimated Salary

$120,000 - $180,000 per year, based on experience and location.
