About This Role

As an Independent Optometrist at Walmart, you will be responsible for providing high-quality eye care services to our members. With the autonomy to establish your own practice, you will have the freedom to create a unique and personalized experience for your patients.

Compensation Package

The annual salary range for this position is $120,000 - $200,000. In addition to your base pay, you may also receive performance bonuses, which can increase your total compensation significantly.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive eye exams and vision care services to our members
  • Establish your own schedule and control your patient flow
  • Set your own fees and keep 100% of exam/professional fees
  • Possibility to opt into equipment/instrumentation and administrative support services (if state allows)
Requirements
  • Doctor of Optometry (OD) from an accredited optometry school
  • Valid state optometry license
  • Ophthalmologist (MD or DO) from an accredited school
  • Valid state ophthalmology license
  • General Liability Certificate
  • Professional Liability Insurance Certificate
  • W-9
